the rest of the break was pretty amazing.
Wednesday i went to the prayer meeting before church. it was good to intercede for my church. there has been a lack of faith in the church due to the economic crisis. i pray that the faith of God will be restored in his Bride. Scott spoke on the interruptions in life and how we can react to them. we need to focus on the good in those interruptions. i went to ONE afterwards at Church of the Highlands. Dave spoke on what we were chasing. it was a pretty good service.
Thursday i had lunch with a friend and we ended up talking for 3 hours. it was amazing. we both share what's on our hearts and encourage each other. i loved it. i then saw my friend who got her wisdom teeth taken out. she looked good! not swollen too bad. then i got to see a different friend for dinner and we got to catch up for a little bit. it was good talking to her too. small group was after that with my church. it was really good. we talked more on repentance. my pastor talked about repentance on sunday. we shared what it means to repent to us individually.
Friday i got breakfast with the girls from the small group. then we went to botanical gardens and walked around and took pictures. it was fun. then i had lunch with a friend who i went to China with and caught up with her. then saw my wisdom teeth friend and hung out with her for a few hours. i love her so much. she is so beautiful and precious. my mom and i hung out after that and ordered pizza. she made me go with her to see one of her friends who needed help and i really didn't need to go but you know mothers... so i made go with me to blockbuster to buy a movie.
Saturday, kendall came back from the beach. she went with me to our young adult cookout. it was so much fun! she got to meet everyone i will be hanging out with for this summer when i move back home. they all liked her too. i played guitar hero with some of them afterwards and we made a midnight run to ihop... the pancake place, not prayer.
church on sunday was great. an evangalist came and spoke and just spoke life back into our church. my church is going to have a breakthrough and it's already happening. i love it!
i really can't wait to move back home and start working and serving there. it's going to be a great new chapter in my life.
